hey all,

I pray your second week of classes is going well. You should be
starting to get into some routines and getting the hang of your new
schedules (or perhaps the campus altogether.) As you see these routines
develop think about what part your walk with God is playing in these
routines. Are you finding time for prayers, Bible study, fellowship and
worship? If not you may want to make some adjustments to your routine
while it is still early on. Habits are hard to break, and convincing
yourself to add something new (even if it is important, like God) in the
middle or end of the semester is very difficult.

So how can you add to your faith walk now?

here are some options-
Worship on Sunday at 8 am (traditional service) or 10:30 am -- Free
Breakfast after the 10:30 service!
Attend a Bible class (or 2!)
Sundays at 9:15 am-- Christianity 101 (the basic teachings of the
Christian faith from the Lutheran perspective)
                                            Led by pastor Marty
OR The book of James led by Vicar Ray
OR Colossians chapter 3- led by a
student leader to be named later (sounds like a baseball trade)
                                        The Colossians Bible study will
end this week, Sept. 10th

    Mid week Bible studies-
Tuesday 9pm- Study on the book of Luke led by
pastor Marty

Wednesday 9pm- "open topic" Bible study-- this
week focusing on "what is a Lutheran (part 2 of 3)"
Led by Justin Dooley this week, led by other students
in future weeks... perhaps you want to lead a topic?

book "Mere Christianity" by CS Lewis
