[LSF-Announce] This Week at Refuge

Hey All,

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what
we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans
that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of
the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with
God's will.  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love him,who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans
8:26-28)

There are times when we feel that our prayers just aren't getting through,
or that we're not saying what we want to say.  And there are many, many
times when we don't know what we should pray and don't even know what we
want, but we know we desperately need God's help.  Know that whatever your
situation, the Holy Spirit is interceding for you, and He knows you better
than you know yourself.  God will work everything to the "good of those who
love Him."  Just be prepared to see God's "good," which may be radically
different from our "good"!


All right, on to business.  Here's what's happening this week at Refuge:

Monday, Feb. 26: Lounge open from 6:00-10:00

Tuesday, Feb. 27: Pastor-led Bible study on Luke in the lounge at 9:00.

Wednesday, Feb. 28: Women's Bible study social/servant event.  We'll be
meeting in the lounge at 8:00 to watch "The Devil Wears Prada" (which is
awesome, I might add) and knit squares for blankets for Warm Up America.
NONE of us knows how to knit, I don't think, but there will be a lady from
Warm Up American there to guide us, so come on over!
The guys will be having a Bible study on a New Testament book at 8:00 as
well, which will be equally awesome.

Thursday, March 1: Bible study on Revelation at 9:00 in the lounge. ALSO,
make sure your FAFSA is filed today:-)

Sunday, March 4: Worship at 8:00 and 10:30, with pancakes in the lounge
following the 10:30 service.


God Bless, take care, and try not to slip on any of that disgusting white
stuff that keeps falling from the sky.
