Hey All,

A prayer that was recently forwarded to me. I thought it was pretty
amazing. Hopefully you agree!

In case anyone is not aware, Saint Theresa is known as the Saint of
the Little Ways. Meaning she believed in doing the little things in
life well and with great love. She is also the patron Saint of flower
growers and florists. She is represented by roses.

St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are
exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite
possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you
have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May
you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence
settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing,
dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

Here's what's going on this week at Refuge:

Tuesday, Nov. 6: Pastor-led Bible study on John at 9:00

Wednesday, Nov. 7: Matt leads popcorn Bible study at 9:00

Thursday, Nov. 8: Matt and John in the lounge from 6:00-10:00. Come
bother them! They get bored!

Friday, Nov. 9: OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD!!!!!!! We'll meet at the
church at 7:30, make a Wal-Mart run, and return to the church to pack
boxes. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry which delivers
Christmas gifts to needy children. We pack up shoeboxes full of little
gifts (hence the Wal-Mart run). If you have couple of extra bucks,
we'd appreciate about $5.00 per person to help with the gifts. If not,
don't worry about it. We received some donations from the church to
help with costs.

Take care all, and thank God for the heat in your apartment/dorm/whatever!

Best,
Nikki
