[LSF-Announce] Turkey Day!

Hey All,

I just wanted to alert you all to a pretty big Refuge event this weekend.
Every year, Refuge hosts a Thanksgiving dinner, which is attended by all of
us, plus a significant chunk of the congregation. This year's festivities
will begin at 5:30 on Sunday, Nov. 18, at the church.
The bigger announcement, however, is that we NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET in
pulling this off! Starting on Saturday at 10:00 (yep, that's a.m., folks:-)
we'll be peeling potatoes, chopping vegetables, and other preparation. We'll
have pizza around 1:00 or 2:00 ish, and continue preparation after that. On
Sunday, we'll start preparing at 2:00, dinner at 5:30, then cleanup after
that. If you're able to help with any of this, please, PLEASE do! There's
some sign-ups in the lounge, but that's more to gauge general numbers of
help rather than to commit you to an exact time slot. So, if you can stick
your name down somewhere, that would be awesome. If you won't be in the
lounge anytime soon but plan on helping out, please email me back to give me
a general idea of when we can expect you.

awesometastically fun event, and we want to make sure it stays that way this
year!
